Day 1: Uyuni - Coquesa

Meeting in our offices where briefing will be provided about today’s program.

We start at 10:30 visiting the Train Cemetery, Colchani artisanal village, visit the artisanal salt processing factories, visit the handicrafts shops, where you will see the  alpaca and llama garments. Then we will enter the great salt flat of Uyuni where you will visit the pyramids of salt, salt eyes, visit to the former salt hotel, in the middle of the salt flat, today transformed into a museum which receives countless visitors, and then visit the Dakar monument with flags from all over the world. In this place we will enjoy the sunset and in the night time around 22.00 we can return to see the stars.

At the base of the Thunupa volcano, which is located close to the Coqueza community, we will find our lodge.

Day 2: Coquesa - Uyuni

Do not miss a beautiful sunrise (optional), at 7:00 am +/- breakfast, then we start our day visiting the viewpoint where we will find some  Aymara mummies. It is also possible to continue and go up to the Volcano Crater this activity has an additional payment  and should be  coordinated with the driver the night before in order to hire  a local guide who will guide us to the Crater. Going down we will visit the Incahuasi Island where  you will observe cactus, fossil stones, coral stone and animals of the region like the vizcacha among others. End of services, return to Uyuni.
